THE KATHUA HORROR

Probably counted as the most horrendous crime against a minor in the last 5 years, the Kathua rape case is about the horrific abduction, rape, and murder of an 8-year-old girl, Asifa Bano, in Rasana village near Kathua in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The motive, which sent shock waves across the masses, was to scare and drive away the nomads, Bakarwal community, to which she belonged. Reports revealed that the girl had been drugged with a sedative before she was raped and murdered. Raped multiple times by different men, she was finally strangled to death, apart from being hit in the head with a heavy stone

17 MEN CHARGED WITH RAPING 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL OVER MONTHS

The men, aged 23 to 66, allegedly sedated the girl, took her into the elevator and finally into vacant apartment buildings to rape her. The media reports that the girl, whose hearing is impaired, was also taken to a basement, terrace, gym and public restrooms.

POLICE FIND 19 FEMALE FOETUSES

In a disturbing revelation, the Indian Police found 19 aborted female fetuses in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, all suspected to be a part of an unabashed abortion racket. The foetuses were found while they were investigating the death of a woman who had undergone an illegal abortion
